The second year Industrial Technology students of Talisay City College (TCC) Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology donated books to the TCC library last Oct. 10.

The books will be used by students who are taking the subjects Rizal, and Society and Culture with Family Planning.

They donated 12 books on Rizal, four books of Society and five books of the  Philippine National Flag.

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology students set out to help TCC comply with the mandate of Republic Act 1425 which requires all public and private high schools, colleges and universities to have adequate supply of books pertaining to the life of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

The deed of donation was signed by the BSIT students and Dr. Edgar Martinez, TCC officer-in-charge and Dean of Colleges.

In his message to the students during the signing ceremony, Martinez said, “Ask not what your college can do, but ask what you can do for your college.”
