Cebu City Hall workers celebrate Halloween with kids
CEBU City Hall employees had fun with their children for Halloween at the Plaza Sugbo where games and booths were set up by the e Department of Social Welfare Services (DSWS).
More than 200 children came dressed as their favorite animated or comic book characters.
Candies and other goodies were offered to the children.
The kids were registered but walk-in participants were also welcomed just like last year, said DSWS Administrator Rowena Lago.
Some pet owners brought their costumed dogs to the occasion as well.
Juvelyn Montecillo, the mayor’s appointment secretary, said employees chipped in to buy the candies and other treats for the celebration.
“It’s overwhelming when you see children smiling when you give them candies,” she said.
