A 32-YEAR-OLD woman was supposed to visit her live-in partner detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Jail but ended up joining her boyfriend  after she was caught carrying  a sachet of suspected shabu and drug-sniffing paraphernalia.

Lynbe Mandado of barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu will be charged with illegal possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia under Republic Act 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Mandado went to the city jail on Tuesday.

She’s been a regular visitor of her  boyfriend  Jerome Dela Cerna, who is detained for illegal drug charges.

She underwent a routine body search by a policewoman.

During the inspection,   JO1 Janine Nuñez found in her possession a sachet of suspected shabu and three tin foils stuffed in a face powder container.

Mandado said she just borrowed the container from a friend.

She said she was not aware of what was inside the container.

JO1 Nuñez said police are waiting for results of the examination of the seized items before filing charges against  the woman.
