CEBUANO netter Janji Soquino exhibited his tennis supremacy after smashing Carl King, 6-0, 6-1, in the quarterfinal round of the Peugeot Philippines Tennis Open regional qualifiers yesterday in Bacolod City.

With the victory, Soquino will be moving into the semifinals, where he will take on John Altiche. The game is scheduled for today.

Meanwhile, another Cebuano, Amiel Aya-ay, was not as fortunate as he bowed to Vicente Alberto Anasta, 0-6, 1-6, in the quarterfinal round.
