Contrasting results for ASPI spikers

THE AUTHOR Solutions Philippines Inc. (ASPI) Hardbacks had contrasting results in the volleyball tournament of the 2015 Inter BPOlympics Cebu Season 2 over the weekend at the Innodata Multi Purpose Court in barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

ASPI’s men’s team finally broke into the win column by crushing ePerformax, 20-25, 25-21, 25-19, but its women’s team bowed to Innodata, 18-25, 12-25.

ASPI’s women’s team dropped below .500 with a 1-2 (win-loss) card after the sorry loss.

In other games, Banco de Oro’s (BDO) volleyball squads logged separate victories to brighten their chances of moving into the next round.

BDO’s men’s team listed its third consecutive victory in as many games after pounding Fluor in straight sets, 25-17, 25-18 while BDO’s women’s squad handed Calltek it’s first loss of the season via a 25-18, 23-25, 25-20 decision to improve to 2-1 (win-loss).

In basketball, the home team Innodata scored a lopsided victory against Accenture, 73-46, to take a solo lead in the standings with a 3-0 (win-loss) card.

Zylun, meanwhile, ignited a 28-19 run in the final canto to edge EZI Connect, 66-55.
