CEBU City Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella is asking the Office of the Visayas Ombudsman to direct council members to already act on the P2.8 billion Supplemental Budget 1 after the trial court declared as valid the use of SRP lot sales to fund the proposed appropriation.

Labella wrote Deputy Ombudsman for the Visayas Paul Elmer Clemente on Nov. 26 to request for the issuance of an order that would direct the council to already act on SB 1 by either approving, rejecting or slashing it.

He expressed confidence that Clemente would act on his request the soonest possible time citing the urgency of appropriations proposed in SB 1.
