The Cebu provincial government has given a religious group the go signal to take down the big yellow banner at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC).

Assistant Provincial Administrator Ramil Abing said he has released an authorization letter to organizers of the Jesus Reigns event that will happen at CICC grounds on Nov. 30.

He said that organizers may take down the banner any time before the event. No Capitol staff will be sent to help them.

Abing earlier said only volunteers from the group will roll down the banner.

Members of Cebuanos for Good Governance and Development (CGGD), the group that claimed putting up the yellow Never Again at the facility, said they are amenable to the request of the religious group.

CGGD Spokesman Renil Oliva, in a text message, said they will be sending volunteers from their group to help.
