THE Cebu City Council approved the P201 million Supplemental Budget 2 in a special session this Monday afternoon.
The bulk of SB2 includes the P30,000 across the board cash incentives for employees.
Councilors Mary Ann De Los Santos and Alvin Dizon abstained from SB2 approval saying it’s “too much” and “extravagant.”
For their part, Councilors Margot Osmena and Lea Japson voted for the passage of SB2 but asked the City Treasurer’s Office to reduce their cash incentive from P30,000 to only P10,000.
It also includes the P40 million for garbage tipping fees and P24.3 million for special accounts.
