By: Apple Ta-as December 10,2015 - 03:05 AM

FIRECRACKERS sold  outside the designated area in the South Road Properties (SRP) will be seized.

Senior Supt. Marciano Batiancela Jr., acting chief of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), issued this warning as demand for firecrackers start to increase for the Christmas and New Year celebration.

Regulations on  the sale  of firecrackers were discussed during the Police Coordinating and Advisory Council (PCAC) meeting last Tuesday.

He said the CCPO, Cebu City Hall and the regional office of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will monitor the sale of firecrackers.

Firecrackers belonging to vendors who do not have permit to sell will be confiscated, said Batiancela.
