2 dead, 2 hurt in Sunday violence

Two were killed dead while two others were injured in separate shooting incidents in southern Cebu last Sunday.

In barangay Agbalana, Malabuyoc town, a wanted person identified as Reynaldo Asister was gunned down at around 5 p.m.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the chest, abdomen and head.

Asister had a standing warrant of arrest for a rape case in Bohol.

In barangay Pulago, Alcoy town, 19-year-old Angelie Lañohan was shot dead inside her rented house.

She was shot in the face.

Her body was discovered Sunday morning.

In barangay Sumagwan, Argao town, Jerry Cabrera, 36, and Marilyn Labradilla, 57, landed in the hospital after Labradilla’s live in partner, Antonio Sarveda, 71, had a fight with Cabrera.

Investigation showed that Cabrera and Sarveda had an old grudge.

Last Sunday, Cabrera went to Sarveda’s house carrying a scythe.

Sarveda pulled out his gun and tried to shoot Cabrera.

Labradilla tried to pacify them but the gun went off hitting her arm. Sarveda shot Cabrera in the back
Sarveda was arrested while the victims were brought to a Cebu City hospital.
