A 67-year-old scavenger died after he got trapped inside his house when a fire broke out along White Road, sitio Dumpsite, barangay Inayawan, Cebu City last night.
SPO3 Felomino Mendaros, homicide investigator identified the fatality as Celso Serad. Fire investigators are looking at reports that an unattended candle caused the fire that started at Serad’s house.
Firefighters received the alarm at 10:11pm and they put it out after 20 minutes.
