TEAM RAMA – Abellana National School (ANS) blasted As-Es Cebu Normal University Lady Stallions (CNU), 87-74, in Game 1 of the best-of-three championship series of in the Cebu Hoops Ladies League yesterday at the Cebu Sports Institute in barangay Sawang Calero, Cebu City.
Niña Cuadero led the way for Team Rama – ANS with 24 points.
Caudero was backed by Jill Tavas, who tallied 22 markers.
Team Rama – ANS started strong behind Cuadero, who unloaded nine of her total output in the first period to power her team to a 21-12 lead.
Team Rama-ANS broke the game wide open in the third behind a 22-13 attack, allowing them to post a 67-52 lead heading into the final quarter.
Team Rama – ANS sealed the win with another mighty run in the fourth that saw them cruising to a huge 83-62 edge.
