The longest-running car show and automotive lifestyle event in the country touched down in the Queen City of the South during its most festive and grandest time of the year for the Bumper to Bumper Sinulog.

Held over the weekend at the SM Seaside City, Cebuano car afficionados and gearheads were treated to a dazzling display of vehicles of various makes and set-ups and events geared to tickle the fancy of participants that were estimated to be in the thousands.

Aside from beautiful cars and babes, there were also well set up sound systems for the sound-off competition.

Aside from the car show, there was also a drive-in movie, a sound-off competition and of course, the Certified B2B Babes who were flown in from Manila to add even more spice to an already sizzling affair.

According to Jonathan Chio, CEO of Ladder Events Production, he and his partners merely acceded to the request of Cebuanos who asked that the event be held here, at the height of the Sinulog Festival.

“It is our great pleasure to bring Bumper to Bumper to the Queen City of the South. The Cebuanos’ passion for cars is more than just a hobby, it has become a lifestyle. Because of this, we are more inspired to bring them the best of the best in the automotive industry through this event,” said Chio during the event’s launch last week.

“Maraming nag-request na the B2B be held during the Sinulog and we worked all year long to make it happen,” he added.

Bumper to Bumper Car Show has toured all around the major cities of the country bringing its cutting-edge brand of car-inspired fun to locales such as Baguio, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Batangas, Laguna, Tagaytay, Iloilo, Davao, General Santos City and across Manila.

But Cebu, said Cho, just brings the fun in hosting a car show to a whole new level.

“The Cebu car culture scene is more fun. It’s really no-holds barred when they have fun. They usually adapt to what’s in the environment and celebrate the car culture in a festive manner,” Cho shared.

Ryan Yu, one of the more noted representatives of Cebu’s exciting car club scene, added that what sets the show apart is the variety of vehicles that were seen.

“There’s no discrimination. From Korean to Japanese, from European to American, you name it, we have it.”

Among the many supporters of this most awaited event is TOTAL Philippines, which showcased the TOTAL Excellium, a Euro 4-compliant fuel product that cleans and protects engines from the first gas-up, promises fuel efficiency, engine protection and less emissions for consumers.

According to Sabido-Ang, the Bumper to Bumper Sinulog event is the perfect venue for the leading petroleum company in France to reach their market and educate them about the many benefits of TOTAL Excellium.

“At the heart of every TOTAL product is our commitment to constantly improve the customer’s driving experience. From Paris to Manila, it’s the same commitment that has strengthened our drive to offer this advanced fuel technology,” she further adds. “By introducing the TOTAL Excellium at this must-attend event, we are starting the year right and our customers can expect many more exciting product and services offerings from TOTAL Philippines.”
