THE UNIVERSITY of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers did not miss a beat and hiked their winning streak to four games with an 89-69 rout of the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters in the 1st Raul Cabanero Inter-Collegiate Basketball League on Tuesday night at the Bulacao Sports Complex in Talisay City.
Fresh off their second place finish in a tournament in Misamis Oriental, the Green Lancers plunged right back into the action and dominated the Webmasters from start to finish and push their win-loss record to 4-0. Young big man Mike Macion led the men in green’s balanced attack with 28 points.
UC got 20 from Filvenson Culango and 18 from speedy guard Justine Dacalos.
