Two men shot in Toledo

By: Rene F. Alima January 30,2016 - 12:37 AM

TWO men were wounded after two motorcycle-riding men shot them in Barangay Gen. Climaco. Toledo City, Cebu.

Jomar Lapinid, 25, and Jovito Laspoña, 56, were sitting by the roadside when the unidentified assailants fired at them.

The culprits drove off after the attack.

The victims sustained gunshot wounds in the body but were in stable condition as of yesterday, police said.

Revenge could have been the motive of the attack.

Police said Lapinid mauled a man after they argued during a coin toss game (locally known as hantak) last Thursday afternoon.
