A 59-YEAR-OLD fisherman was found dead by the shore in Barangay Tacup, San Remigio town, northern Cebu last Wednesday afternoon.

Felix Jugan Andrin died due to  heat stroke and dehydration, according to municipal physician Eime Batoon.

Police said the man had a drinking session with friends after he went fishing at past 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the man’s drinking buddies went home ahead.

Andrin was too drunk that he failed to go home, police added.

The man was no longer breathing when a 21-year-old fisherman found him lying face down.

Police said the man’s family was convinced  there was no foul play in the death.
