A 69-YEAR-OLD man and his 28-year-old live-in partner were arrested after they allegedly sold shabu in Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.

Packs of suspected shabu worth P700,000 were allegedly recovered from Jesus Tabla Sr. and Melanie Pajulas.

May Refrancuson, agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7), said the PDEA-7 had been trying to arrest Tabla in the past few months.

PDEA-7 had a hard time locating Tabla because the suspect had been transferring from one place to another.

It was last Monday afternoon when Tabla agreed to sold shabu to a poseur-buyer inside a fast food chain.

Refrancuson, who led the operation, said they recovered 81 sachets and two big packs of suspected shabu weighing 60 grams from the couple.
