FOUR persons were arrested by police in a buy-bust operation yesterday morning in Sitio Mangal, Barangay Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City.
Illegal drugs worth P141,000 and a firearm were confiscated from Marlo Perez, 33, Michelle Dehayco, 35, Walter Pagobo, 37, and Roel Baring, 35, all of Barangay Punta Engaño.
Perez was caught possessing 24 small sachets and two medium-sized packs of suspected shabu and a .45 caliber pistol. Dehayco yielded four small sachets of suspected shabu, while Pagobo and Baring had four and five sachets of suspected shabu, respectively.
They are now detained at Lapu-Lapu City Police Office pending the filing of appropriate charges against them.
Police conducted the buy-bust operation after confirming through surveillance that Perez was engaged in illegal drug activity in the area.
