Emirates-Airlines launches flight in Cebu

International carrier Emirates Airlines launches its daily circular flight at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) this afternoon, its first two-stop flight in the country.

The Cebu-Dubai flight will be a daily circular service, stopping over at Clark before flying for Dubai.

The carrier will depart from Cebu at 5:25 p.m. and arrive at Clark 6:46 p.m.

It will leave Clark at 8 p.m. on the same day and arrive in Dubai at 2:25 a.m. the next day.

The flight will be serviced by a two-class Boeing 777-300ER, which has a total seating capacity of 428 passengers.

Badr Abbas, Emirates Airlines senior vice president for commercial operations-Far East, told reporters that the launch of the flight straight from Dubai will “contribute towards developing tourism and trade in the Philippines’ regional economies.”
