Central Visayas swim team making waves in National Prisaa

The swimming team of Region 7 added six golds, three silvers and one bronze medal in the second day of competition in the Private Schools Athetlic Association (PRISAA) National meet in Koronadal City, South Catobato on Tuesday.

Gold medal winners were University of San Carlos’ (USC) Keith Ashley  Ocampo in the men’s 1,500m freestyle event, University of Cebu’s (UC) Michael Ichiro Kong and USC’s Razel Cabajar in the men’s and women’s 100m butterfly, respectively, USC’s Ruliben Deligero in the men’s 100m breaststroke, John Michaelson Beltran in the men’s 100m freestyle and Bryan Inamarga in the 50m backstroke.

Region 7 has now a total of  14 golds, eight silvers and three bronze medals in the annual multisporting meet.
