THE SUNDAY Badminton Group (SBG) is holding its Summer Tournament today at the Metro Sports Center.
The tournament will feature women’s doubles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles competitions.
The tournament is part of SBG’s effort to become socially responsible as proceeds will benefit the less privileged of Cebu City. SBG held its first tournament for a cause after typhoon Yolanda wreaked havoc in the Visayas in 2013. Part of the proceeds of that tournament then were donated to the typhoon victims. Another two tournaments for charity ensued and both were equally successful as the maiden project.
The SBG Summer Tournament is brought to you by Globe Telecom, Hotel Stella, Skin Perfection Body Contouring and Spa, and Lita Quisumbing’s Living Fit Wellness Hub and Studio. Minor sponsors are Lei Pepito of New Zealand and Mariam Acompañado.
