MORE than P250,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized from suspected illegal drug pushers who were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City last Tuesday afternoon.
The suspects identified as Rene Reataza and Ludy Labrado were arrested by operativess of the Regional Anti-Ilegal Drug Special Operations Task Group (RAIDSOTG).
Senior Insp. Joey Bicoy, who headed the group, said their poseur buyer bought a small sachet of shabu worth P300 from the suspects which led to their arrest.
Recovered from their possession were four medium packs and seven small packs of shabu weighing 22 grams with an estimated value at P259,000. The suspects are detained at the Cebu City police precinct 2 pending the filing of charges against them.
