Bus driver shot in the face

A BUS driver was shot in the face by an unidentified assailant in Sacris road extension, Barangay Tipolo Mandaue City at 6:20 a.m., Monday.

SPO1 Michael Dimalima of the Mandaue City police said the area where 36-year-old Ernie Calapi, a stay-in driver of Natalie Bus Liner, was shot is far from a polling precinct.

Calapi was brought to the nearest hospital while police are verifying if the shooting is election-related.
