Voting underway in special elections for Cordova barangay

Cordova’s special election for cluster 33, composed of precincts 74a, 74b, 76a, and 76b, in Gabi Elementary School is underway.
The remaining 436 voters who were not able to vote during last Monday’s election due to ballot misprint are expected to cast their votes today.
Misprinted ballots prevented these people from casting their votes on Election Day last Monday. Cordova election officer Rafael Nolasco, Jr. said there were no major problems encountered as of 10:40 p.m. Saturday.
No exact number of voters who have voted as of this time has been released as such disclosure is prohibited by the COMELEC and is considered as premature announcement of voting.
