The defending champion Golden State Warriors got upset by the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder, 108-102, in come-from-behind fashion in Game 1 of the NBA Western Confernce Finals.

Russel Westbrook came alive in the second half, scoring 24 of his 27 points in the crucial stretch to help the Thunder erase a 13-point deficit and come away with the series-opening win.

Kevin Durant added 26 and made a crucial jumper in the dying seconds of the game when Golden State threatened to catch up.

League MVP Steph Curry scored 26 for the top-seeded Warriors, who now lost home court edge with the defeat.

Klay Thompson chipped in 25 points for Golden State.
