Organizers and exhibitors of this year’s Philconstruct Visayas, set for June 2 to 4 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, hold a press conference. ORGANIZERS of Philconstruct Visayas 2016 have promised a bigger construction exhibit this year.

The expo, set for June 2 to 4 at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel, will feature more than 150 companies, said Dante Abando, president of the Philippine Construction Association, Inc. and Philconstruct Events, Exhibitions, and Conferences Corp. (PEECC).

“In our first year six years ago, our Cebu show had less than 100 companies participating. It really makes us proud to see more organizations, exhibitors, and industry professionals supporting the event each year,” Abando said in a press conference yesterday.

The expo is jointly organized by the PEECC, Cebu Contractors Association (CCA) and the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA).

It will also feature a furniture sale, an Interior Designers’ Pavilion organized by the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) Cebu chapter and the Architects’ Pavilion by the United Architects of the Philippines.
