SWU parts ways with long-time coach

THE SOUTHWESTERN University Lady Cobras (SWU) have ended almost a decade of partnership with multi-titled head coach Jordan Paca without citing any reason for their decision.

Paca, who led the Lady Cobras to a rare double grandslam in the Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) indoor volleyball tournament from 2009-2011 and 2013-2015 told Cebu Daily News on Thursday night that he is no longer affiliated with the squad. He likewise refused to say any specifics.

“Wala nako sa Southwestern. Dili nako ang ilang head coach,” was all Paca had to say. (I am not with Southwestern. I am not their head coach.)

SWU men’s assistant coach and former University of Cebu (UC) ace Roy Anore Ulan will be taking over the coaching reins for the SWU girls and women’s squads.
