Cebuano spiker chooses Ateneo

By: John Carlo Villaruel May 26,2016 - 09:23 PM

ONE OF Cebu’s highly touted spikers, Canciano “Abai” Llenos, said he will be joining the powerhouse Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eaglets.

The 17-year-old Llenos, who last played for the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Baby Jaguars, received multiple offers from other UAAP teams, such as National University and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.

“I chose Ateneo due the quality of its education. It was my personal choice but I also received advises from my parents, peers and relatives,” said Llenos, who is a Grade 11 student.

Llenos said he considered playing volleyball professionally but insisted he’d rather finish college first.
