The Cleveland Cavaliers were crowned back-to-back Eastern Conference champions after finishing off the Toronto Raptors,113-87, in Game 6 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday (Philippine time) at the Air Canada Center.
The Cavs took the series 4-2 and will face the winner of the Western Conference series between Oklahoma City and Golden State, which the Thunder lead, 3-2. Game 6 of that series will be held Sunday in Oklahoma.
LeBron James, who is in his sixth straight finals appearance–four with Miami and two with Cleveland, led the Cavs with 33 points. Kyrie Irving added 30 while Kevin Love chipped in 20 points to go with 12 rebounds.
Toronto, which had its best season so far finishing second to the Cavs in the regular season, was led by Kyle Lowrie’s 35. Demar DeRozan added 20.
