Magis Eagles remain intact this season

THE SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles girls volleyball team has yet to make any player movement this off-season as their lineup from last year’s Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) wars remains the same.

But Magis Eagles head coach Mario Sala said he is still looking for potential players to be added into his lineup for the upcoming season.

“Last year’s 10 homegrown players are still intact,” he said. “We do have a lot of potential athletes from our training pool. Let’s see how much they will progress in the next two months.”

To test the progress, SHS-AdC announced that it will be taking part in the first annual Cebu Youth Volleyball League (CYVL) starting June 4 at their home floor.

“It will be a combination of team athletes and our girls in the training pool. This is important for all of them to get exposure,” Sala said.
