IN LINE WITH the World Environment Day, the Paddle for the Planet will be held today at the Cebu Yacht Club in Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.
The event, organized by the International Canoe Federation and Kryptonite Digital, which also aims to raise environmental awareness, is expected to be participated by top dragon boat paddlers in Cebu and in the Visayas.
Activities such as kayak tours, clinics, water cleanup, ocean care lecture, and many more will highlight the event.
Aside from Cebu, other countries such as Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates will also hold the event on the same day.
