THE CEBU Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) will be hosting the Rich Catsup Midyear Bowling Tournament today at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
The competition will kick off at 8 p.m.
The tournament will be spread into four days with the other three to be held on June 24, July 1 and July 8 at the same venue. Each playing date will feature a three-game series with the teams having the most pin falls plus handicaps to be declared winners.
The tournament is expected to draw around a dozen bowling teams composed of five keglers each.
The champion team will receive a whopping P20,000 plus a trophy while the second placer will get P15,000 and a trophy. The third placer will win P10,000 and also a trophy.
The highest scoring team in a single playing day will receive P1,000 while both the male and female players who score the highest pin fall in a single playing day will each receive P500.
Registration fee for each team is P12,500.
The tournament will follow the Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) handicapping rules.
