THE Cebu City Council appointed a new chairman for the budget and finance committee during their regular Wednesday morning session.
Councilor James Cuenco took over the committee chairmanship from Cebu City acting Mayor Margot Osmeña.
This followed after Osmeña submitted the revised budget for 2016. Cuenco said discussions and deliberations on the new budget shall start on Monday.
