AN unidentified man who was spotted jumping off Marcelo Fernan Bridge last Sunday morning was found dead at the Cebu International Port Monday afternoon.

The man wore a white shirt printed with the words “Sunpride”, along with grey colored pants and black low-cut rubber shoes with white sole. He is believed to be in his late 40s and stands 5’ 4” tall.

The Opao police precinct received a call from an anonymous caller regarding a man floating at Mactan channel near the first bridge at past 2 p.m. Monday and alerted the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Maritime Office-7.

A search ended with the body found floating at Cebu International Port (CIP).

The remains were brought by the search team at a shoreline in Ouano wharf in Barangay Looc, Mandaue City to be fetched by funeral parlor personnel.
