PRO 7 to have new director Monday

The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO 7) will have a new director starting July 4, Monday.

Chief Supt. Patrocinio Comendador confirmed this report but declined to give further details.

Comendador said reshufflings are part of their job and they just have to obey.

“About to leave. Just waitng for my orders. Prerogative of the new PNP (Philippine National Police) chief,” Comendador said in a text message sent to Cebu Daily News.

Comendador served as acting PRO 7 director for two months.

Turnover of command will be held on Monday according to Senior Supt. Rey Lyndon Lawas, PRO 7 deputy regional director for operation.
