Cobras falter

By: John Carlo Villaruel July 04,2016 - 10:28 PM

THE SOUTHWESTERN University (SWU) Cobras failed to make it into the next round after absorbing a bitter loss to reigning UAAP girls champions National University (NU) Bullpups, 15-25, 15-25, in the Shakey’s Girls Volleyball League of Champions yesterday at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.

It was the second loss for the Central Visayas champions, who kept their bid alive with a win against Holy Family Academy on Sunday after losing to De La Salle Lipa in their first game last Saturday.

The Cobras will look to fight for pride tonight as they lock horns with Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Knights at 6 p.m.
