KAPAMILYA actress Kathryn Bernardo is happy that her on-screen partner Daniel Padilla took the lead in going public with their budding romance.
“Siyempre masaya… ang hirap kasi kapag yung girl ang nagsasalita. Yun kasi yung bagay na hindi namin pinag-uusapan, na parang automatic na lang,” said Kathryn said last Sunday.
Echoing what Daniel said in an interview with ABS-CBN, Kathryn said they are no longer open to dating anyone else.
“It’s hard to tell kung ano talaga ang real label, but sabi namin, yun ang right label to use: exclusive for each other,” she said.
Asked what she felt when Daniel spoke up, she said that it was meant to clarify things between them, especially for fans who want to know the real status of their relationship.
“So, ayun, at least ngayon alam na nila kung saan kami nanggagaling, kung ano ang setup namin,” she said.
Barely a week after, the 20-year-old actress posted a photo on Instagram of her with Daniel in Barcelona, where they were filming their upcoming movie directed by Olivia Lamasan.
In the picture, Kathryn and Daniel were strolling down a street while an older couple was seen holding hands in the background. Her caption: “what a coincidence.”
Kathryn said it reminds her of their favorite song “Grow Old With You.”
