JCI Cebu Mactan Channel, Inc. introduces upcoming projects

JUNIOR Chamber International makes their Bridges to Development Program official after the members of the JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel signed the MOA last April 27, 2016 at University of Cebu. This long-term program aims to contribute towards creating sustainable and impactful projects that address to social needs.

Five major project initiatives are emphasized within this program, all of which are meant to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of 2015. These are: (1) Empowering Pinay, aims mainly to empower women, welfare, and the advancement of gender equality through trainings and seminars. (2) Read to Lead, seeks to improve the reading skills of Filipinos and increase the primary education completion rate of the country. (3)  I love EARTH: 13 Climate Action, a direct response addressing the issue of climate change and how to combat and prevent it from becoming worse through environment centered activities. (4) HEALTH awareness campaign, tackles the concern on HIV/AIDS within the country and educates people on ways to prevent the its spread. (5) Moneybility, educates the Filipino population on how to manage money effectively and efficiently.

Each of these projects will be implemented on different dates and have individual chairpersons. All of these are organized by the members of JCI in partnership with UC Cares, and is under the supervision of Cloyd Dedicatoria with Mark Anthony Bequilla as the program chairman.
