DTCC shines in DSCPI tilt

THE DANCESPORTS Team Cebu City (DTCC) has once again lived up to their powerhouse reputation after finishing strong in the DanceSport Council of the Philippines Inc. (DSCPI) Mid-Year Ranking and Competition last Saturday night at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

DTCC raked in a total of nine gold medals, 12 silvers and six bronzes in the tournament.

Winning big for the Cebuanos was Eleanor Hayco, who paired up with Jimmy Noel to bag a gold in the senior Latin A dance.

Hayco then joined forces with Bjorn Torres in the senior standard A routine to win another gold for DTCC.

The pair of Jake Emmanuel Corro and Andrea Kiem Capangpangan also won first place in the junior Latin A division while the winner in the junior standard A event was Gylle Niño Diluvio and Julia Branzuela.

In the junior C standard, Simon Asuque and Rylyn Jhea Romeo brought home top honors. Crispin Sato Jr. and Yedda Marie Castañares bagged the coveted gilt in the youth standard C category.

Jeffrey Ruben Benaoro and Therese Andre Quilaton also collared a gold medal in the grade Latin B jig.
