MAKOTO Osada and Rose Camero bagged the men and women’s “Bowler of the Month” titles for July of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Friday Group Tournament held last Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Osada finished the five-game series with 1,110 pinfalls while Camero finished fourth with 976 pinfalls behind Esther Francisco who topped the ladies division with 1,009 pinfalls followed by Baby Bacon (1,003) and Cynthia Uybengkee at third (992 pinfalls).
However, Francisco, Bacon and Uybengkee already won monthly titles paving Camero’s ascension as July titlist for the ladies event.
Meanwhile, Roland Bantilan finished second in the men’s competition with 1,094 pinfalls followed by Ging Francisco at third with 1,038 pinfalls. Rounding out the men’s top five were CETBA Vice President Docdoc Gothong (1,036) and Andrew Drossel (1,020).
