THE 12th annual San Roque Football Festival will unfold on August 27-28 at the San Roque Football Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The tournament is in line with the fiesta of Sr. San Roque and is being organized by the San Roque Football Club. It is also part of the football calendar of the province and is expecting to draw around a hundred teams from different parts of Cebu.
The event will have 11 age groups namely; under-7 mixed, under-9 mixed, boys under-11, boys under-13, girls under-14, girls under-17, boys under-17, men’s open, ladies open, executives 40 above and the inter-BPO division.
The under-7 mixed division will have a five-a-side format while the rest will adopt a 7-a-side festival type format. The under-7 mixed, under-9 mixed, boys under-11, boys under-13, girls under-14, girls under-17 and boys under-17 will have a registration fee of P800 per team while the men’s and ladies open along with the executives 40-above registration fee is P1,250 per team. The inter-BPO fee is pegged at P2,000.
