A young man who resumed dealing in drugs after surrendering to police last August died in a drug bust at Barangay Catarman, Cordova town yesterday dawn.
Rosdy Tejano, a resident of the area, died due to gunshot wounds and failed to make it after being rushed to the Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital.
Senior Insp. Jomar Medil, Cordova Police Precinct chief, said their informants told him that Tejano resumed selling shabu, and their surveillance confirmed it.
They set up a drug bust; and sensing the presence of police, Tejano tried to pull out his handgun, only to be shot by the police.
Medil said the police recovered from Tejano’s possession six small plastic sachets containing shabu, one loaded .38 cal. revolver and marked money.
