IN A span of three hours on Friday, police arrested three persons and confiscated about P30,000 worth of suspected shabu in three anti-illegal drug operations in Liloan town in northern Cebu.
First to be arrested was Rizaldy Pepito, 48, in a buy-bust operation led by Chief Insp. Franco Rudolf Oriol of the Liloan police in Barangay Calero at 4 p.m.
Oriol said that they confiscated 10 small sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P8,260 from the possession of Pepito, who is a resident of the barangay.
An hour later, Oriol and his men conducted another buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion and arrested Judaya Anoos, 35.
Oriol said that they confiscated from Anoos 12 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P9,912.
Two hours later at 7 p.m., Oriol’s team headed to the town’s mountain barangay of Tabla where they conducted another buy-bust operation and arrested Adriano Tundag, 50, who is a resident of the barangay.
Oriol said they confiscated 14 sachets of suspected shabu from Tundag, which Oriol estimated to be worth P11,564.
Oriol said that Tundag was allegedly a level 3 drug pusher or one who could dispose of at least 100 grams of shabu in a week.
Oriol also said that the three suspects had already surrendered during the Oplan Tokhang in their barangays, but they still went back to selling illegal drugs.
