THE GLOBAL Cebu FC and Laguna Stallions FC settled for a 1-1 draw in their first encounter in the ongoing Philippines Football League (PFL) last Sunday at the Biñan Stadium in Laguna.
Japanese Shu Sasaki netted the ball for Global Cebu in the 86th minute coming off from Pika Minegishi’s assist.
The host team refused to give up and scored a goal in extra time courtesy of Matthew Nierras for the final tally.
