PAUL James Zafico and Lea Ethel Tampus became the inaugural champions in the 10K category of the 2017 Run To Give, a fun run organized by the Cebu City Marriott Hotel, yesterday at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu.
Zafico finished in 44 minutes and 48 seconds to win the men’s title while Tampus clocked 50 minutes and 58 seconds to bag the women’s crown.
Christopher Napalla was the 5K men’s winner after finishing in 20 minutes while Constance Larrandabure topped the 5K women’s race with a time of 28:53.
Champions in the 3k were Ariel Saballa (11:44) and Nicole Del Rosario (13:58).
The running event for the benefit of Rise Above Foundation had a total of 800 participants.
During the awarding ceremonies, Marriott Hotel Officers handed over a check worth P100,000 to the foundation.
