Will Cebu’s bet win Misters of Filipinas 2017?

Vann Ramos

WILL Cebu’s bet Vann Ramos win the Misters of Filipinas 2017 title? The 22-year-old model is Cebu’s official representative to  the Misters of Filipinas 2017 finals night tomorrow, September 30 at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

“Being an official representative of Cebu is both an honor and a challenge. It is an honor for me to bring the name of Cebu to compete in the national level,” Ramos said.

But he also considered it as a challenge since Cebu representatives in the national pageants mostly ended up bringing home a title. In 2014, Cebu’s Judah Cohen won the Misters of Filipinas-Tourism International title while in 2013, Gil Wagas won the Misters of Filipinas-International title.

“However, I always have this positive outlook in life. Whatever happens, I always consider myself as a  winner, because reaching this far is a great achievement already,” he added.  Before joining Misters of Filipinas, Ramos, 22, a native of Tacloban City already win several titles including Ginoong Leyte 2015 and Bodyshots Cebu 2016 1st runner up.

“I joined Misters of Filipinas because I wanted to bring pride and joy to the Cebuanos. Personally I know it will mold me to become a better a person aside from that I know that the pageant will also provide me greater opportunities,” he added.

Part of his preparations is to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually ready. “I go to the gym daily and I see to it that I eat healthy,” he added.

Misters of Filipinas has 24 candidates this year including Cebuano nurse Yves Campos who represents the Filipino Community in Hawaii.

The pageant is under Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS) Foundation Inc. According to its official Facebook page, it is also the official Philippine franchise owner of Mister International, Manhunt International, Man of the Year, Man of the World, Mister Southeast Asia, and Mister Globe.
