DORMAKABA remains in a class all on its own as they bashed the erstwhile unbeaten Fenestram, 98-58, in the A + E Basketball Corporate Cup 2018 last Saturday at the University of San Carlos gym.
What was expected to be an all-out war between the league’s two remaining unbeaten teams turned out to be anything but a yawner as Dormakaba imposed its will in the second period to run away with their fourth straight dominant win.
After leading, 24-11, Dormakaba uncorked a 31-15 run in the second to go up, 55-26, at halftime, and pave the way for the lopsided win.
Ed Macasling paced Dormakaba with 21 points, Erik Pummer added 12 while Ed Sapio submitted 11.
Fenestram dropped to 3-1 (win-loss) and into a tie with defending champions Sea Olympus which beat Davies, 81-64.
In other matches, Island Paints clobbered Phoenix, 73-57, and Rain or Shine defeated Eastgrand, 87-72.
