Gokongwei-led Robinsons Bank and British life insurer Pru Life UK announce the official launch of their bancassurance business during the Bank’s Annual Business Center Heads Summit last May 26, 2018 held in Canyon Cove, Nasugbu, Batangas.
Regulatory approvals have been received from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Insurance Commission (IC), both of which are required for the bancassurance partnership, which will allow Pru Life UK to distribute its life insurance products through Robinsons Bank’s 137 branches across the country.
Through this partnership, Robinsons Bank will be able to further serve its clients by providing them Pru Life UK insurance products that will complement the bank’s existing products and services.
Both financial institutions are pleased about the launch, repeatedly expressing their commitment to help secure the financial future and growing protection needs of Filipinos. The companies signed the partnership agreement through a press conference held in January this year.
