A MAN was shot in the leg by a policeman after he stabbed a woman in barangay Suba, Danao City, northern Cebu Wednesday night.
Vicente Camoro III allegedly ran amuck and stabbed Josephine Lawas, 55, in the arm.
Operatives of Special Weapons and Tactics team in Danao responded to the alarm.
Police said Camoro was still holding a knife when police arrived.
The man was asked to surrender but he ignored the police, prompting PO1 Mark Anthony Mata to shoot him.
Police recovered a six-inch knife from the man, who was brought to a hospital along with Lawas.
