POLICE arrested on Tuesday afternoon three persons suspected to be responsible for the series of robberies in Consolacion town.
Vicente Ortega, 21; Rex Cabahug, 22, and Archie Erisido, 27; of Bag-ong Dan, barangay Yati, Liloan town were arrested after a brief chase by Consolacion police.
Antonio Pepito, 37, a habal-habal driver, sought help from policemen at a checkpoint in barangay Cansaga after he was held up at gunpoint by the three suspects.
The policemen immediately responded and arrested the suspects who were on board a motorcycle.
Police recovered a .38 caliber revolver and a hand grenade from Ortega while Cabahug and Erisido allegedly had two packs of shabu.
